The 20th edition of Basketball Without Borders was held in Johannesburg, bringing together young African athletes for an elite basketball experience.

Basketball Without Borders is a long-standing collaboration between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The program aims to help grow life skills, develop interpersonal sport skills, on and off the court.

BWB provides 30 boys and 30 girls from over 20 African countries with top-notch instruction and development opportunities to maximize their international potential.

Participants receive guidance from current and former NBA, WNBA, and FIBA players, as well as renowned coaches and legends of the game.

The young players have the chance to compete alongside their peers from across the continent, honing their skills and broadening their horizons.

Additionally, top executives played a pivotal role as global ambassadors for the sport, engaging in activities both on and off the court, further promoting basketball’s unifying and developmental power.
